Meta is accelerating the development of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Advertising technology, which aims to provide advertisers with more efficient marketing solutions by reducing the cost and difficulty of advertising through automated tools. Meta announced that it would significantly upgrade its image video advertising tool to allow the main advertiser to upload up to 20 product images and to use AI to automatically claim multiple scenes of dynamic video advertising.

According to official presentations, the new version of the image-to-video tool is based on the Movie Gen technology of Meta and the Llama model, which supports the rapid translation of static-product images into high-quality video clips, including clips that are too dynamic, special effects and TikTok style. The advertisers need only upload pictures to generate multi-platform advertising for Facebook, Instagram and Reels, without a professional video production team.

Meta ‘ s AI advertising ecology also includes video editing tools that provide preset templates, features and personalization adjustments through Meta AI and Edits applications. AI automatically generates advertising text, optimizing titles and descriptions. Multiple advertising variants are tested in real time and the content is automatically adjusted to increase conversion rates.
Meta introduced AI-generated advertising labels in February 2025 to ensure that users are able to identify the content created by AI and to enhance transparency. These functions are particularly suited to SMEs and to advertisers with limited budgets, helping them to quickly launch attractive advertisements in a highly competitive short video market.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Meta ‘ s AI tool will dynamically generate multiple advertising versions, resulting in a significant increase in the return on investment (ROI) through real-time testing to optimize results. This strategy, combined with the large user base of Meta, further consolidates its leadership in the digital advertising market.
According to eMarketer, global short video advertising expenditures will increase by 20 per cent in 2025, and Meta will respond to this trend through the image-to-video tool. Compared to traditional advertising, AI tools reduce the creation time from days to minutes and reduce costs by up to 80 per cent, especially for small electricians and local businesses.

Meta aims to automate the entire advertising process by the end of 2026, so that AI can complete its creative creation, content optimization and precision placement by providing a product, URL, picture or budget. As the AI technology evolves, Meta is expected to provide advertisers with more personalized and efficient marketing solutions to recreate the digital advertising ecology.
