Roblox announced the launch of a test tool to allow users to create interactive 3D models through text alerts, an upgrade to the 3D asset generation tool published last year.

The launch of the tool coincided with the launch of the Google World Generation tool, Genie, which generated widespread debate among investors, and generated a shock in the investment market, leading to a decline in the stock prices of major distributors such as Roblox, Take-Two and Nintendo. Roblox says the tool is open to platform game creators. Players will generate interactive objects through text tips in these games, although the tool is currently limited to two types of “modes”: a player-driving car and a single grid object. The video in the bulletin shows the creation of cars, aircraft and bubble guns by text.

Roblox indicated that the tool had been tested in a game called ” Wish Master ” , which was used by players to generate more than 160,000 objects within six months. The game creator Laksh stated that the player using this function “an increase of 64 per cent in the average game market in Wish Master”.

Anupam Singh, Senior Engineering Vice-President of Roblox, stated that the company was “actively working towards our final vision of an open terminology model system that would allow for the creation of any model” and envisaged “a future in which creators and users could generate any type of 4D object and behaviour they wished”.
Anupam Singh also referred to a research project within Roblox called “real-time dreaming”, which stated that it would “gentle new experiences”. The Chief Executive Officer of Roblox, Dave Baszuki, demonstrated in a recent social media video, showing a rough environment of low frame rates, similar to the ” upper scrolls ” , which responds to text alerts calling for tsunamis, moving from villages to ships at sea. Anupam Singh says, “The next front line of Roblox’s creation is our creation platform that continues AI-driven evolution, which will enable creators to generate immersion, iterative, debugging and teamwork through natural language tips. As long as someone can dream of it, it should be possible to make it a reality.”

So far, the issuer ‘ s response to Genie and its impact on the stock market has focused mainly on its own use of AI, although there have also been some doubts about Genie ‘ s real capacity. In response to a question from a post-post-report analyst on Take-Two’s latest quarter, the director of the company, Carl Slatov, said that Genie was a “very exciting technology” but that it seemed “more like a programmable interactive video” than a game engine, and that “the development of games involves much more than “world-generated.”
